Meet The Team
Gigi Pinwill is a multi-disciplinary artist shortlisted for EM Fletcher Writing Award and placed in Top 100 of Short and Sweet Festival, who develops original creations through DunnART Productions. Her scripts have been chosen for production by Notre Dame University and private sponsors. Gigi is a long-time children’s entertainer touring nationally and full-time with Theatre in Education. She has worked with Education Interactive, Starrs Productions, EG Incursions, and Fairy Lala Land. As a professional violinist and creative writer, Gigi has drawn upon both disciplines to create Bettong and Buddies. Her insight into music, and professional experience in theatre and conservation education for children, come to the fore in this ground-breaking and innovative audience-interactive show. Mark Knight's original work has been optioned in both the US and UK. He developed projects for Red Bull Media House, Canal + (EU), The BBC & BBC America, ITV (UK), FX (Canada), NBC and the SyFy channel (US). He was Chairman of the South Australian Screen Industry Council (SASIC) and sits on the board of the Media Resource Centre (MRC) and the SA Chapter of the Australian Writers Guild. He is also an associate member of the Writers Guild of America (WGA West) and The Writers Guild of Great Britain (WGGB). Mark consults on projects at any stage from conception to production, and can be regularly found at MIPtv Markets in France, and the American Film Market. Mark delivers workshops on script writing, idea generation and script development. Additionally, he judges on several film and Script Competitions & Festivals.

Alexandra Schulze toured Kangaroo Island with Bettongs and Buddies playing roles of Acacia the Bettong (a bogan bettong mum) and a Murray Darling Python with so much humour and caring-love. After training and working as an actor in London, Alex followed love back to homeland Australia and has since performed in many fun loving shows like Fabulous? Absolutely and Kath and Kim. She is mother to two adorable children, does gorgeous face-painting, and enjoys giving to her community through No Strings Attached.

After completing studies with Adelaide College of the Arts, Mikayla is now completing a Bachelor of Business majoring in Digital Marketing and Communications and Management at the University of Adelaide. |
Susannah Birch: After 10 years in digital marketing and completing Masters of Marketing, Susannah offers services and training through Eat Digital, Ask Susannah, and Business Station: Digital Solutions. George G. Aldridge is an international freelance illustrator and cartoonist with 35 years of experience. Highlights include SA Cartoonist of the Year - Press Club Award, Resident Cartoonist for Rockford Wines, and Exhibition Designer for SA Museum. He is also a Board Member of Country Arts SA with a keen and active working interest in representing endangered Australian animals in his art. Dr. Mark Seaton, Honorary Research Associate: Department of Theatre and Performance, University of Sydney. He is an Educator and Consultant for Sense Connexion — supporting artists developing new work. Mark was awarded the Churchill Fellowship in 2009 during which he conducted a study tour of actor training healthcare practices in the UK. From this arose a collaboration with the University of Sydney called the Equity Foundation which initiated an international ground-breaking Actors’ Wellbeing Study (AWS) in 2013. Mark has provided creative performance guidance and support within government-funded projects. He is a founding member of the Australian Society for Performing Arts Healthcare.
